Village Apartments was chosen as one of twelve complexes in the U.S. to be recognized with a picture layout in the ESIC annual calendar due in large part to the community effort involved in the development. This effort is portrayed with art tiles on the mail kiosk, which were designed and painted by East Valley Middle School special education students.

Details: Woodruff Heights Apartments, located at 9815 E 6th, is directly east of the Village Apartments in the Spokane Valley. The project was completed in August 2000. It consists of 26 units with a mix of two, three, and four bedroom apartments. This site holds one small tot lot and barbeque and picnic facilities for our families.
