Details: Plymouth Place is an affordable, older adult (62+) community with several apartments equipped to accommodate those who are mobility impaired (also available to those over the age of 18). Conveniences close to our community include various restaurants, two Post Offices, a variety of medical facilities, several grocery stores, and two shopping centers. Ancillary services include Meals-On-Wheels and Home Health Services. Transportation consists of weekly van services, dial-a-ride, SMART, as well as taxi and bus service. Our residents enjoy frequent parties, potluck suppers, bingo, and other social activities which are held in the community room. Our community actively participates in RHF’s Project H.A.N.D.S. A Social Service Coordinator is available for residents’ personal needs. Plymouth Place is a smoke-free community. Comment from Bella on 2024-10-05 01:11:25: After waiting 3 1/2 years on waiting list, got contacted, did a pre interview and brought in documents and paperwork they wanted. Place is undergoing renovations now! Filed out papers for release of information, was told they’d contact me in 2 weeks, I contacted them 1 month later, was told they needed more paperwork and to come in next day. I went and was told I wasn’t on their schedule to come back next day, I told them I would need to come back next week! They called and told me what more paperwork they wanted and was told the release of information, I signed, that nobody contacted them so now wanted me to come down again earlier to call these places out of state for proof of income, from their office, to answer questions! This whole process has lasted 3 months! The 1 bedroom apt only has a shower (no tub), has carpet only in bedroom, rest is flooring, small apt about 504 sq ft, small kitchen, two small closets! Has balcony or patio! No parking except on street! Need door remote to enter building! Has an elevator! Didn’t like the way office people were rude and not understanding! I am not going to live here, looking for different apt, now! Too complicated to qualify! Wow ????
