Details: The apartments are designated, under the Section 811/PRAC Program project type, to serve a developmentally disabled resident population. Qualifying economic income limits are Very Low and Extremely Low as published by HUD (Department of Housing and Urban Development) each year. The Section 811 program allows persons with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the community by subsidizing rental housing opportunities which provide access to appropriate supportive services. It is the property’s policy to accept and process applications in accordance with applicable HUD Handbooks and regulations. When the waiting list is open, applications can be requested from North Bay Industries (Management Agent), Monday - Friday during normal business hours. Salishan Apartments has 13 single bedroom units for independent living, including a manager’s unit. There is a small community room, laundry facilities and an elevator. It is located within walking distance of downtown Petaluma, movie theatres, bowling and public transportation.

Comment from scott winfield on 2018-07-10 11:29:05: I tried to post some court paperwork for a resident of this property and tried to get the resident manager to let me in but refused and I was trying to carry out an court order and I showed her the paperwork and my personal id and she still refused to let me enter the complex and she was totally rude to me.
