Details: Pacific Bridge is a licensed group home facility providing housing and 24 hour, 7 days a week supportive independent living services to seven high-functioning, developmentally disabled adults. This $700,000 project was the result of a feasibility study conducted by LTSC CDC, commissioned by the California Department of Health, to develop a model for culturally and linguistically appropriate program design and housing geared towards serving Asian and Pacific Islander developmentally disabled adults. The 3,082 square foot group home, located in Monterey Park, includes 7 beds and separate live-in caretaker quarters completed in 1997. Rents are set at 30% of SSI/SSA income per resident, with additional rental subsidy from the East Los Angeles Regional Center for Developmentally Disabled and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Project Rental Assistance Contract (PRAC).
