Details: In 1996, a home for six men, Alhambra House, was opened in Rowland Heights, CA. The project was funded, in part, by a large grant from a local chapter of the International Order of the Alhambra, a fraternal organization of Catholic men dedicated to assisting persons developmentally disabled by mental retardation.
