Details: Woodbridge Manor was born out of a perceived need for affordable housing in Irvine for seniors and disabled persons. There are 165 one bedroom units all subsidized by Section 8, Tax Credit and or Bonds. Woodbridge Manor is located across the street from one of Irvine’s finest Senior Centers. Common areas include three lobbies, three community rooms with kitchens and wide screen TV’s, two computer labs and 5 laundry rooms. Each unit is furnished with an oven/range, full size refrigerator and has a balcony or patio. We just completed installation of solar panels which provides assistance to our resident’s electricity usage. Woodbridge Manor has weekly bus trips to a variety of shops; monthly lunch outings; monthly birthday dinners (with entertainment); weekly chair based Pilates classes as well as mental exercise classes and seasonal celebrations. Our on-site Resident Service Coordinator is available five days a week to assist our residents with benefit coordination, outreach, counseling and education. Woodbridge Manor is located in one of Irvine’s finest communities, Woodbridge Village. The property parallels the San Diego Creek bed which provides a pastoral setting for the residents. Woodbridge Manor is a member of the Woodbridge Village Association which provides 41 recreational areas within the community. These recreational facilities include two lakes, several pools, Jacuzzi’s, tennis courts, baseball fields and basketball courts.
