Details: Pine Tower is a multifamily property that serves seniors 62 or older, and persons with disabilities. This includes ADA requirements with reasonable accommodation. Comment from Evelyn Dowdy on 2018-03-30 05:07:09: I live in Arizona (Phoenix) to be exact, have applied for subsidized elderly housing 5 years ago. l'm 61 yrs old and disabled, blk female who has been homeless twice since appling for subsidized housing. I think anyone that age disabled and homeless that been on a waiting list for 5 years should be given some kind of priority over someone that currently has suitable housing opposed to someone living outside in 100 to 120 degree heat. One of those apt is Pine Tower in which I'm still more than 150 people waiting since 2013 ? I find it heard to believe. How is washing whos hands in Phoenix AZ that some people especially homeless, disabled, elderly, blacks. It seems Mexicans, and other foreign ers are pushed to the front of the list.

Comment from Lived there on 2024-10-04 00:06:22: I lived @ Pine Tower's for approximately 9 yrs. I sincerely enjoyed living there for 8+ yrs.,...that is til new management took over. On the BIG plus side it's 1/4 block away from a 24 hour Walgreens & what was a 24 hrs. Walmart before COVID/now closes @ 11pm & opens @ 6am also there is a hospital within a few miles. If you don't drive there is a bus stop on the corner & if you do drive residents cars are safe in enclosed parking/needing a card to enter or exit. No If's And's or Buts about it it was a Wonderful place to live when the City of Phoenix managed it...in "my opinion" not so much with new management co...in "my opinion" not at all a nice place to live since new management took over (a number of residents have shared their disdain for new management with me).
