Comment from Christine Withrow on 2018-09-25 14:06:41: I had a interview for these properties about 4 years ago. I was so excited to be given a chance at a low income home in Goleta right when I was moving forward with the process I got denied something about credit!!!! What low income families on the coast have good credit that’s a reason nobody around here can get into a apartment that’s why they created programs like this to help it just makes no sense to me and now I’m forever off the Goleta list??? Seems like I need to follow through with some type of appeal.

Comment from Mary Helen Kerby on 2018-06-11 17:25:04: I am on the Waiting List from Rental Café at number 165. I applied April 2015. I have two sons and we're trying to get them closer to City College, and we used to have jobs there in Goleta. Can we be moved up? We are in Lompoc 3 years now, and they cannot get to work and the bus system isn't good. One son already has some Semesters there at City, and their sister lives there still. This is where they grew up. Had to move because of spouse abandoned us. Just asking. Thank you. Mary
