Details: Stonehaven is a welcoming senior housing community funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). A housing Assistance Program is available. Those who qualify do not pay more than 30% of their annual adjusted income for rent and utilities (except for telephone, internet and cable services). Stonehaven has 54 one bedroom apartments. They are all designed with seniors' needs in mind, and some are specially designed for the mobility-impaired. Emergency call equipment is available in every apartment. The kitchen is open and spacious with an open counter that provides a nice view and plenty of light. The windows in many of the units look out onto beautiful greenery surrounding the building, giving the apartment a sense of openness.
