It eventually benefited from Frederick Law Olmsted’s vision of an Emerald Necklace of parks, and so is home to Olmsted Park, Jamaica Park, the Arnold Arboretum, and Franklin Park. The Forest Hills Housing Cooperative community is active, and the staff and Board keep members informed about free tax preparation, or programs for students in the community, job opportunities for young and old, local festivals and films, craft workshops, Bingo games, safety tips and history.
