Details: The Project Beginnings I Program is a HUD “811 program” with its own 501 (C) 3 tax exempt, not-for-profit organizational status and has its own by-laws and Board of Trustees. Tarry House provides management oversight to this program. The program serves up to 11 adults. Tenants have a history of homelessness and mental illness. The program includes three 2-bedroom apartments serving two non-related adults each; one 1-bedroom apartment and a home that serves up to four adults. The program is managed by a part-time apartment/case manager and the program receives management services via Tarry House’s Management and Support Team.
