Close enough to town to take a nice walk or visit the park. Gorgeous landscaping. We pay for heat, water, sewage, and trash. We have spacious closets and bathroom areas, in-wall A/C units, and on-site laundry facilities. Great management and maintenance staff. We take pride in our communication between residents and staff. Carleton Co-op Apartments

Location: Carleton, MI - 48117 Contact Phone: (734) 654-0150 Details: Carleton Co-op is a 47 unit senior community in the small, rural town of Carleton, Michigan. It is conveniently located within five miles of the 1-275 expressway, in northern Monroe county. Carleton Co-op is nationally recognized as “A Community of Quality” by the National Affordable Housing Management Association. The property was completed in 1993 and provides apartments for ages 62+. The co-op represents the enjoyment and freedom that comes with affordable living. Resident members enjoy the peace and privacy of their apartments, but also enjoy participating in the many community events the resident members sponsor. You can join in the doughnut and coffee hour, bingo, table games, cards, wii bowling, or just relaxing in our living/community room or out on the patio in our lovely garden. There are occasional catered events and many other chances to be a part of a fun community. Some of these activities may be on hold right now, due to the pandemic. Carleton Co-op is gradually transforming into a 100% smoke free co-op; smoking is not allowed in any common area or within 25 feet of the building. There are a few members who are still permitted to smoke in their own apartments, because they signed a waiver prior to the full implementation of the new smoking rules. All new members as of March 8, 2017, are not allowed to smoke inside their own apartment. Carleton Co-op is located next to: medical offices, pharmacy, banking, post office, grocery store, restaurants, dollar store, hardware store and more. The Carelton community is considered a sleepy town with senior programs and activities in the area. Carleton is affordable for everyone. Rent is based on a percentage of the household's income. |
