A variety of social activities and services are offered on a regular basis, and MidPen Resident Services addresses the “aging in place” needs of the residents. In 1991, Monte Vista Terrace received the City of Mountain View’s Mayor’s Award for providing an attractive affordable housing community and activities for seniors and adults with disabilities. |
San Veron Park

Completed in 1971, San Veron Park is an attractive, low-density townhouse-style development with private balconies and extensive lawn areas, a recreation room, laundry facilities, plus two play areas for children. San Veron Park is next door to a park and adjoins a neighborhood of single-family homes. San Veron was presented with the 1971 City of Mountain View Mayor’s Award for creating an outstanding residential environment through the use of color, materials and form, demonstrating MidPen’s commitment to creating communities that are congruent with their surrounding neighborhoods. |
Shorebreeze Apartments

The complex includes a community room with a computer center. Services are offered on-site, including afterschool and summer programs. The garden-style buildings of Shorebreeze, along with its park-like grounds, allow residents to interact with one another in a way that fosters community and activity. |
Sierra Vista I Apartments

Location: Mountain View, CA - 94043 Contact Phone: (650) 965-9222 Details: Sierra Vista I Apartments, a 34-unit complex located in the City of Mountain View, was acquired by Charities Housing under the Title Six Preservation Program of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, where the property obtained a project based Section 8 contract. The development has a mix of two, three and four bedroom townhouse style units and serve very low-income families. Acquisition and rehabilitation costs for the project were financed through tax exempt bonds and FHA insurance. Resident elected members from the complex sit on the Board of Directors. Supportive services from Catholic Charities are also available to the residents of the complex. |
