With funding from the Golden Gate Regional Center, PARCA provides onsite training in independent living skills and other services. A spacious community room and central courtyard lend themselves to group activities as well as social gatherings. Horizons also includes large outdoor planters where residents can learn landscaping skills and an elevator tower, which acts as a focal point of the community. Horizons has won several awards, including the Maxwell Award of Excellence from the FannieMae Foundation, an Award of Merit for Program Innovation from NAHRO, and a Helen Putnam Award for Excellence from the League of California Cities. |
Lesley Terrace

Location: Belmont, CA - 94002 Contact Phone: (650) 593-1818 Details: Completed in 1971, Lesley Terrace was built in partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development [HUD]. A four-story facility, Lesley Terrace has 138 studio apartments; 12 studio-alcoves; and 14 one-bedroom units. 60 of our units provide rent subsidies to residents through the HUD Project-Based Section 8 Rental Assistance Program. Lesley Terrace provides housing and a meal program, and a Social Service Coordinator is available during regular business hours as a resource to residents who feel they need help locating appropriate supportive services within the community. Management Staff is on site during regular business hours, and a Resident Manager is on duty after hours. Lesley Terrace has an active Residents Association with a voice in residential community affairs. |
