The units are specifically designed to meet the needs of the elderly and handicapped/disabled. It provides freedom for each individual to live a complete and comfortable lifestyle. There are 125 one bedroom units including 13 handicapped and 6 efficiency apartments. Each unit has a carpeted bedroom and either a carpeted or vinyl floor in the living room. The kitchen has a vinyl floor and is furnished with a stove, refrigerator, and microwave plus a dishwasher (in most units). Each bath has an emergency pull cord and safety handrails in the shower or bathtub. There is ample closet/storage space in each unit including a kitchen pantry. Each unit has individually controlled temperature, pre-wired phone jacks, cable hookup, and an air conditioner.
