Details: Peace River Center has two group homes as a part of the residential treatment programming. One group home is intended to allow persons with serious mental illnesses to live in this structured, therapeutic environment long term. The second group home is to assist persons in transitioning back into the community following discharge from psychiatric inpatient treatment. This residential setting is designed to teach individuals the skills to allow them to transition to a living environment of their choice. Skills at both group homes are built through coaching by staff in the residential setting and encouraging participation in other Peace River Center Programs such as Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Supported Employment, and the Clubhouse.
