Details: Terrace Apartments consist of 27 one bedroom apartments and two 2 bedroom handicapped accessible apartments. All have a bathroom with a walk-in shower (no tub), galley kitchen with pantry, and a living room with small eating space. Bedrooms have one wall of closets. Each one bedroom unit is approximately 500 sq. ft. and the two bedroom units are approximately 750 sq. ft. All utilities are paid. DirecTV is available for $30 monthly. Telephone and monthly expenses are the responsibility of the tenant. A laundry room is located in the Community Building. Two washers and two dryers are available for tenant use. The Community Building is the location of the offices of Municipal Housing Agency. The Community Room is used for the residents as an extension of their apartment. This room can be reserved by the resident . A $10 fee is charged to reserve the room for private use for a day and $5 for an evening. Manning has a Senior Center location that provides meals on wheels or you can ride the van to the center for your noon meal. Home Care services are available in the community if the resident requires help. Tenants must make arrangements for these services on their own. Organized monthly activities are provided in the Community Room for education and recreation. The current maximum rent on a one bedroom is $525 per month and on a two bedrooms is $690. Rents are determined by income so most tenants will pay less. The minimum rent is $50 per month. A refundable security deposit of $200 is required. Pets are welcome at Terrace Apartments with proof of licensing and vaccinations along with a $150 pet deposit. The Terrace Apartments is smoke free. Smoking will be allowed in an outdoor smoking area and outside of 25 feet from an agency owned building.
