Built on the campus of the United Community Center (UCC) on Milwaukee’s south side, Olga Village provides 37 accessible 1- and 2-bedroom apartments in an active, bilingual and culturally-enriched environment. There’s no need for Olga Village’s residents to step outside to enjoy the many programs and services of the UCC Senior Center because the two buildings are connected. The apartment building was completed in 2010 and has been received Silver Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for its many energy-efficient and eco-friendly features, including a green roof and solar-powered water heating system. Amenities: 24/7 Public Safety team; Utilities included in rent; Stove, refrigerator and microwave included; Central air conditioning; Emergency pull cords; Off-street parking; Laundry facilities; Community room. UCC Senior Center offers a senior meal program, computer room, sewing program, pool tables, arts and crafts room, health center, and other services for eligible elderly persons.
