Shires completed the rehabilitation of the “brick row” apartments in Shaftsbury in the Spring of 2018. These iconic brick buildings were constructed in 1868 by the North Bennington Boot and Shoe Company for their workers. While the factory associated with this worker housing was destroyed by a fire in 1884, 5 of the 8 mill houses remain.
