APARTMENT FEATURES - Accessibility - There are 10 one-bedroom apartments (the 1B plan) that include extra accessibility features. Balconies - Several upper floors apartments have balconies - the SD, 1C, and 2D-W plans include them Light and ventilation. High-efficiency casement windows have a coating that reduces the amount of heat gain from the summer sun. Windows open to face the prevailing summer winds and catch cool evening breezes. Windows open all the way to the ceiling to help with summer ventilation. 3-speed ceiling fans are located in every living room and bedroom. BUILDING FEATURES - The Sitka consists of two separate 6-story buildings on a full city block with a quiet, landscaped courtyard between them. Community Spaces: Community Rooms - Each building has a furnished lounge on the ground floor that looks out onto the courtyard.
