Comment from No name on 2017-09-22 16:11:21: My experience with lanark manor can best be somed up with a few words. Absolute Hell! Considering that I’ve actually come pretty close to hell having done 2 tours is Afghanistan. The first experience I’ve just come come for RR from my second tour I have 2 weeks before I am to go back I’m excited to see my nephew and my sister it’s a beautiful day so I decide to take my Harley to see them (also my other vehicle is at Fort Knox in storage) after seeing my family I’m in good spirts that is until the next day my sisters phone rings the “manager” of WDC Cheryl has called my sister screaming no hello just yells calming that she has been “working” on her car in the parking lot which is a violation and a write up(apparently 3 of these and ur kicked out) also claiming that my sister had 3 vehicles (also not true) not to bring the “type” of people around and that she knows and doesn’t like these “type” of people and that NO MOTORCYCLES” are allowed in the parking lot from this point forward. Not once giving my sister a chance to explain anything even as she asked her what she was talking about genuinely confused. Well that was quite the experience. My sister was wrote up for changing the fuses in her car which were located inside a new rule was put in no motorcycles even though the on site manger said that I could park the motorcycle where ever that nobody would care even invited one of my sisters friends inside her apartment to talk about riding thing that it belonged to him. My grandmother who is 85 co-signed for my sister at least once a week she gets a call stating that my sister is having someone stay the night who is not on the lease which is not against any rule and according to the lease a person can stay for 14 days before they considered to be there unrightfully. Saying they have pictures is another thing they keep mentioning. Apparently they are not aware of the easdropping laws that the state of Illinois has in place and at this point what the definition of stalking is . My 6yr old nephew is afraid to go outside and do something wrong fearing that his picture might get taken and that he will be in trouble after talking to several people because I am from the area I came to find out that it was much worse than my sister had explained. The on-site manager like to drink heavily while mixing prescription medication is up at all hours of the night using her tablet to try to get a picture of something or someone that is still unclear what the motive is has been seen my several people some non tenants crouched down between cars or standing extremely close to others windows also taping hand written letter to the door for anyone to see is her main form of communication between herself and the apartments occupants but out of all of the above the most unsettleing things that I’ve found out is the fact that she disclosed their private information like health issues starting the one hallaway stinks bc of someone’s colostomy bag not being properly changed or that the other is an instigator and not to talk to her. The sad part about all of this is that so many basic right of these people are being voliolted and there seem like there is nobody with in this company that want to do the right thing a word of advice if u can stay away from this company do soDo you have experience with LANARK MANOR APARTMENTS?
