Details: Cottage Grove Housing is located on Douglas Street, just blocks from the downtown Shopping Center in Cottage Grove, Oregon. The 40-unit complex is a low-income housing Tax Credit project, designated for occupants 62 years of age or older or for disabled individuals, regardless of age, that are capable and desires to live independently. The Project contains 40 one-bedroom apartments, which have approximately 600 square feet of living space. All units have a kitchen, dining room, and a living room. Handicap-equipped units have ADA approved showers, lowered light switches and appliances designed for wheelchair users. Recreational Room - A multi-purpose room is available for meetings, hobby/craft classes, and wellness and exercise programs. Regularly planned activities and social gatherings, guided by the interest of those who reside at Cottage Grove Housing will have full use of this room. Resident Eligibility Requirements - Applicants are placed for Cottage Grove Housing you will need to be income qualified. Each tenant of the household needs to be a minimum of 62 years if age or older or disabled individual regardless of age. Waiting List - To be placed on the waiting list of Cottage Grove Housing, a completed application must be submitted. Written notification will be sent stating eligibility, based on current Rural Development eligibility. The filing of a completed application and undergoing an evaluation by Lovelace Properties, LLC Management Staff, will establish this. It is important to keep us current on your phone number and address should this change from the application information. If we cannot contact you by phone, you may be removed from the waiting list.
