Details: The Lutheran Hospital and Homes Society and East Valley community leaders founded Centennial Village Corporation as a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, in 1978 to provide affordable housing for senior adults. 2017 marks the 37th anniversary of the opening of Centennial Village, where caring and dedicated board members, staff and volunteers have provided gracious independent living to the east valley. Centennial Village has 153 apartment homes, conveniently located on a beautiful eight-acre campus in north central Mesa. Village residents enjoy a rich quality of life with a wide array of amenities and activities. Starting in 2011, Centennial Village and it's staff embarked on a 6-year plan upgrading and preserving the wonderful campus and apartments. All of the larger mechanical projects are completed. The landscaping, lighting and electrical work is now underway. We are proud of all of the time and dedication our small staff has contributed during these last five years, and are thankful to all of the wonderful residents who have endured the inconveniences and changes associated with large scale campus improvements.
