Details: Overton Senior Housing is a newly-updated community made up of one-bedroom duplexes for residents 62 and better. Our community is operated under the Affordable Housing Program under Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code. This program is designed to facilitate the housing needs of moderate-, middle- or low-income households. Residency at Overton Senior Housing requires that applicants meet certain qualifying standards established by the government and the Managing Agent. Overton Senior Housing is an USDA, Rural Development property and adheres to all non-discrimination requirements mandated by this program. The community has a garden area, clubhouse, laundry center, computer center, picnic/barbecue area and covered parking areas all for our residents' enjoyment and use. The units were rehabbed in late 2018 and feature vinyl plank flooring, renovated large bathroom, huge kitchen with refrigerator and stove, plenty of storage, blinds, programmable thermostats and an entry in the front and back of the unit for cross venilation.
