Details: Kirkwood Apartments is an independent living retirement community for seniors located in Goldsboro, NC. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide all our residents with affordable, safe and comfortable independent living for seniors over 62 years old with their rent based on income. Kirkwood Apartments is located just a block away from Eastgate Shopping Center, as well as a mere two and a half miles from Goldsboro Airport, and the Three Eagles Golf Course. Eleven low-rise buildings planted on 10+ acres provide the property with a wide landscape and ample garden space. We have a safe, and well-maintained property with many tenants who have come to make this their long-term home. There are three floor plans from which to choose: spacious studios, and one or two bedroom apartment homes – for the best in independent living. Residents often shop at Carlie C’s, a grocery that will deliver at no additional cost, and several pharmacies make door-to-door deliveries. Our community offers weekly Arts and Crafts Club, an exercise group, weekly Bingo, a Residents’ Council, a monthly Eat-In, trips to local restaurants and Vespers on-site every Sunday. Kirkwood Apartments offers all its residents’ excellent accommodations, a professional on site staff, 24-hour maintenance response, and a great place to call home.
