Details: The Cape Fear Hotel Apartments provides affordable housing for seniors ages 62 and older and is located in historic downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. The historic Cape Fear Hotel was a 9 story hotel built in 1924 which has since been renovated into apartments for seniors. We have available one bedroom apartments, efficiencies and handicap apartments. Monthly rent at Cape Fear Hotel Apartments is affordable and based on the applicant’s income. Some restrictions apply. At Cape Fear Apartments we care about our residents and although our apartments are for independent seniors, we provide, through our Service Coordinator, a structured activity program to include social, recreational, educational and cultural activities. A sitting area outside the ballroom provides a beautiful and perfect place for socializing. Amenities: Heating and air conditioning; Water/sewer/electricity; Retail stores located in the building; On site management; Garbage collection; Maintenance personnel; Laundry facilities; Service Coordinator.
