The clustered neighborhood encourages socializing and relationships. Each of the five buildings contains several apartments. For comfort and ease, everyone lives on the ground floor. Paved walkways connect all five residencies. s a HUD 202 housing complex, Matthew's Place is designed to meet the needs of adults, age 62 or better, in a supportive environment. As a special ministry of United Church Homes and Services, the community offers many special features and extras like: On-site laundry facilities; A secured entry system; Individually controlled heating and air conditioning in each apartment; A comfortably furnished lounge with large screen TV including a DVD player; A community room, including a kitchen for resident events; A library with computer; A utility cost allowance.
