Comment from Dee Bee on 2016-10-24 14:40:07: Sherwood VIllage was an excellent place to live when we first moved there in the 1970s. However, today it is aplace to be avoided. The buildings facing the expressway are bearable, but the other buildings are infested with drugs. Most or all buildings have onky one elevator, so if the elevator breaks residents need to take the stairs. In fact, the only bright spot for SV is the fact that a large Asian supermarket has opened accross the street. They sell all sorts of fresh produce as well as meats, some Western groceries, and a large assortment of Asian groceries. This has made shopping there much more convenient. If it were not for the above, however, I would say that living here is a bleak experience. If possible, look elsewhere. There are many other places with far better conditions.
