PINE MEADOWS APARTMENTS
Comment from Todd on 2018-07-08 11:41:53: Rouses Point, Champlain, West Chazy, Plattsburg are all beautiful places in northern New York state, the only problem with the 1 bedroom subsidized apartments is that most of them don't include all of the utilities as it should because people living on very low fixed incomes need a place that includes all of the utilities, it makes all the difference in the world for quality of life for those in need and since other states to it there's no excuse for upstate New York to not do it. Often times as well these newer subsidized 1 bedroom apartments are so small like 500-600 square feet. Poor seniors and disabled people shouldn't be treated as second class citizens, I think it's so wrong how some think they are luck to get anything at all yet call themselves believers of God. Sometimes I think people forget that numerous times how God talks about helping the poor, being kind to them as poor seniors/disabled people are in a bad situation they have no control over living on a extreme low fixed income. The government can and must do better to help those of us who are unable to help ourselves.

Comment from anonymous on 2018-07-09 09:52:33: Again, this is shameful that the tenant has to pay their electric, all utilities should be included as you have low fixed income seniors and disabled people are barely getting by as it is. It's expensive to cool and heat an apartment, bills can get up to $140.00 depending on use. Seniors and disabled are having a hard time as it is, must they also worry and be uncomfortable where you have to watch the heat in the winter and air conditioner in the summer? Other states have apartments that include all utilities and they are smaller than NY so I see no reason why NY state can't do the same. Some are only living on less than $13,000 per year, the government just doesn't get it.Comment from Todd on 2018-07-08 11:41:53: Rouses Point, Champlain, West Chazy, Plattsburg are all beautiful places in northern New York state, the only problem with the 1 bedroom subsidized apartments is that most of them don't include all of the utilities as it should because people living on very low fixed incomes need a place that includes all of the utilities, it makes all the difference in the world for quality of life for those in need and since other states to it there's no excuse for upstate New York to not do it.
