Details: Baptist Manor is a non-profit organization funded under the Section 236 program by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development known as HUD. Our mission is to provide affordable housing to low and moderate income senior citizens. Baptist Manor has a contract rent as set by New York State Housing and Community Renewal. At this time the contract rent, depending on which floor plan you choose, is $560, $607 OR 30% of your adjusted annual income. Income limits apply and are listed on our rental application. In our neighborhood we are known as a "Community of Caring" for senior citizens. We are a nutrition site for Erie County and offer our residents a delicious lunch on weekdays in our community room. We have a full-time Resident Advisor to help residents access the services they need as they age in an independent setting (apartment). We offer numerous activities to keep you active. We are located on historic Linwood Avenue in the heart of the City of Buffalo, NY. Close to hospitals, convenience stores and public transportation. Amenities: Panoramic Views of Downtown Buffalo from Every Window; 24/7 On-call Emergency Maintenance Service; Completely Renovated Apartments Equipped with Full-Size Appliances (Stove & Refrigerator); Bathrooms Equipped with Grab Bars for Accessibility; Secure Entry System; Smoke-Free Building; Assistance & Programming by Full-time Resident Advisor; Ample Off-Street Parking; Complimentary WiFi Throughout Building; On-Site Beauty Salon.
