The nearby police and fire departments provide an added level of safety as well as quick response times to emergencies. Restaurants, pharmacies and shopping are only blocks away. The beautifully landscaped property with water views boasts free on-site parking, first floor card-op laundry room, reliable elevators, handicap access throughout and live-in superintendent. Activities and events planned by the Tenant Association and Resident Services Coordinator utilize a bright, open Community Room. Holiday and birthday parties, picnics, Bingo, card games, Bible studies and blood pressure clinics are just a few of the goings-on at Clifford House. Trips to casinos, Harbor Yard, and theatres are attended throughout the year. Our Place, a volunteer-run store featuring affordable non-perishable food and paper goods, is available to our residents on a weekly basis. Staffed includes a highly skilled live-in superintendent, a part-time Resident Services Coordinator who facilitates annual rent certifications and offers assistance to resident needs, and a part-time janitor.
