Comment from Lisa on 2018-09-10 08:58:18: DO NOT RENT HERE. They do not fix things when broken in your apartment at all and are very rude. There are two floors in the building and in the lower units you can hear EVERYTHING from your neighbors upstairs. Every time they walk you can hear it like a loud drum. I lived upstairs and the downstairs tenant was alwasys complaining to management and banging on the ceiling for me to be quiet every time I walked to the kitchen. We would argue constantly till one day I went down and we both checked. I had him walk through my apartment while I stayed in his and it was so lous it was unbearable. Needless to say he moved out. The new tenant that came did the same and I tried to explain to her but management told her that we were problem tenants. I finally moved out as well just to have them 2 years late still giving me negative rental histories and lying when contacted. This is from the owner! I had another friend that lived there and though she lived downstairs and had no problems, she didnt get along with the owner. The owner gave her negative reviews which has kept her from getting housing in the city. I almost forgot. I had lost my rental move out sheet and called to ask them to print me another one which they refused. Shortly after I got a letter claiming damages. The joke was on them because I had left it in my sons car. I sent it to them along with a letter from my attorney. The charges were removed. Imagine if I didnt have that letter. I am an elderly woman and this building is for elders so I can imagine the trouble they put others through. Its really sad for these people to do this type of stuff. The owner is a very rude woman. If you agree with her, shes on your side but the minute you disagree for even something small, youre in trouble like youre in her classroom and a child. We are elders not children. Take my advice... do not rent. The price is affordable financially but the price you pay mentally is not worth it.
