Details: Mesquite Gardens is an affordable, older adult (62+) community with several apartments equipped to accommodate those who are mobility impaired. A variety of grocery stores and medical facilities (including the local hospital) are within 4 blocks of the community. Local transportation is available for doctor appointments and errands. Our Resident Apartment Association plans weekly functions and monthly pot-lucks which are held in the community room. Our residents are active participants in RHF’s Project H.A.N.D.S. Pets are welcomed at Mesquite Gardens but a deposit is required and there are size limitations. A Social Service Coordinator is available for residents’ personal needs. Mesquite Gardens is a smoke-free community. Studio & One Bedroom Apartments Include: Safety Rails in Bathroom; Full Kitchen; Utilities (except phone and electricity); Individually Controlled Heat; Emergency Call System; Fire & Smoke Detectors; In-Wall Antennae Hook-up but Cable Television is Available; Carpeting; Window Treatments. Building Amenities Include: On-Site Laundry Room; Individual Indoor Mailboxes; Entry Access System; Community Room; On-Site Management Staff; On-Site Maintenance Staff; Service Coordinator on Staff

Fish and birds are welcomed without a deposit. We also welcome small dogs and cats with a pet deposit. There is a limit of one animal (cat or dog) per apartment and there are certain size and breed restrictions. The pet deposit is the same amount as the security deposit with a minimum of $50 and a maximum of $300. We can make payment arrangements for this deposit. Beginning with $50 and then a monthly payment of $10 until the deposit is paid in full.
