Owned and operated by a non-profit Board of Directors, the community is run exclusively for the benefit of its residents. Offering studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments for active seniors and disabled adults, Chai House is open to anyone that meets age and other requirements. Chai House is professionally managed by the John Stewart Company with an on-site property manager and staff. Built and sponsored by the Jewish Community of Silicon Valley, Chai House residents of all religions live together in harmony. The community serves kosher dinners five nights a week and provides recreation facilities for its residents. Chai House I, a HUD supported project, is co-located with Chai House II.
