Property Description:: The Harbor House is a three-story apartment building with 50 one-bedroom units and is designated for elderly and disabled persons. An elevator is located in the center of the building. There are stairwells on either end of the building. Outside, second- and third-floor units have balconies and first-floor units have a patio, both of which include a modest storage unit for the tenant. The laundry room is located on the first floor, as are the mailboxes. The Anacortes Housing Authority provides grounds maintenance, water, sewer, and garbage services. Tenants are responsible for electricity and other optional services, such as cable, internet, and telephone at their own expense. All units have stoves and refrigerators provided by the Anacortes Housing Authority. It is important to understand that this is not an assisted living facility. Management’s role is to provide subsidized housing and maintenance services for our residents. Residents that require additional personal services need to have them provided by outside service and/or support organizations.
