Funding is provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the NYC Housing Development Corporation, the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and the Federal Home Loan Bank Board of New York with federal low-income housing tax credits through the Enterprise Foundation. Gas for cooking, heat, and hot water are included in the rent; the tenant pays for electricity only. Amenities include a community room and outdoor seating area. The building has two elevators and other accommodations to enhance safety and security for the elderly residents such as video intercoms, grab bars, emergency pull-cords, closed-circuit TV cameras, fully accessible entrances, and handicapped adaptability.
