Location: Ballston Spa, NY - 12020 Contact Phone: (518) 583-7977 Details: Highpointe at Malta Senior Apartments consists of eighty-two (82) one and two bedroom units of housing for elderly residents. The seven acre site is located approximately 1/4 mile north of the intersection of NYS Route 9 and NYS Route 67, which forms the economic and social center of the Town of Malta and is rapidly becoming the commercial center of the Town. Services already in existence at the intersection include a newly constructed shopping center, which includes supermarket, drug store and banks, along with other stores and services. Highpointe at Malta Senior Apartments are part of a Planned Development District approved by the Town Board, which offers a variety of housing opportunities linked together by communal areas and amenities to form an integrated community. The apartment homes have been designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly. The community is available to seniors, defined as households headed by a person 55 years of age or older. Rents for these apartment homes include heat and hot water. ents are based on an income level as a percentage of the area median income. Electric is paid separately by the resident and is estimated to be $52/month for the 1 bedroom apartment and $70/month for the 2 bedroom apartment.
