Details: We offer assisted housing for the elderly so you can enjoy living without the financial worry. There are 26 one-bedroom units at the Preservation Park development (some are handicapped equipped). All utilities are included (heat, hot water, and electricity) also included is discounted basic cable. The units are spread out across three buildings (two are connected). The brick building houses units addressed as 163 Main St. and 185 Main St. This building has two levels and there are laundry facilities located on both floors with coin operated washer and dryer. Keyed mailboxes are located on the first floor. There is a trash shed located on the outside of the building and is used for trash disposal and recycling. The 185 Main St. building has a security entry system so the units that do not have direct access can select who is able to enter the building through the community room door that is linked through your phone line. The other building (the white house) is addressed as 195 Main St. and it has four units. The residents here have access to the brick building to do laundry and use the community room. They have mailboxes on the bottom floor of the building. Maintenance services are available and maintain the grounds as well. There is no elevator at this development, if you are on the top floor; there are two flights of stairs to get to the unit. The community room offers a relaxing area to enjoy a book, talk with your neighbors, or work on a puzzle. The is a pet policy which allows for one cat with a pet deposit. Rent is based off of income (30% of adjusted gross income).
