The Senior Center is located across the street and offers such activities as lunches, health clinics, traveling groups, bingo, swimming at the YMCA, and bowling. There is also an adult day care center located adjacent to the building. |

The historic buildings are both within walking distance to stores, churches, the post office, banks, doctors, and the hospital. Bus service is also available. The properties are professionally managed by POAH Communities. Management and a full-time maintenance staff are on-site. A Resident Service Coordinator is also available at the communities who provides individual assistance and helps maintain a healthy, safe, and active living environment. The spacious apartments offer a full bathroom and kitchen with an electric range, refrigerator, and garbage disposal. Apartments are also equipped with window treatments, carpeting and pull cords to notify the staff and/or other residents in case of an emergency. Rents are based on 30% of the tenant’s adjusted monthly income with allowances for medical expenses for the elderly, disabled and handicapped residents. There are no asset limitations. Heat and hot water are included in the rent. Pets are allowed at Central Annex and Union Court according to POAH Communities' Pet Policy. There is no pet deposit. |
