Details: Riverside Village is a family-oriented apartment community consisting of 26 buildings situated on 36 attractively landscaped acres. There are 78 one-bedroom units, 183 two bedroom units and 51 three bedroom units. Four of these units are handicap-accessible for residents with physical mobility impairments. In addition to one maintenance staff member residing on site, the property employs an after-hours patrol each evening for the convenience of the residents. The community is ideally located in close proximity to restaurants, schools, colleges, retail business, and a large hospital. Residents of this suburban community enjoy the option of either using public transportation or the ease of having plenty of off street parking located on site if they prefer to own their own vehicle. Riverside Village features a large community room with kitchen for a variety of social, educational, and recreational activities. Partnering with local agencies, many activities are available for children and adults of the community. Most popular is an annual summer camp, Girl Scouts, and a weekly chess club. There are seasonal arts and crafts, homework help sessions, and cultural opportunities through special presentations at the community room. In addition to organized programs, the residents enjoy seasonal use of a full size swimming pool and a wading pool with certified lifeguards.
