The property was completed in 2011. Old Court Estates Co-op is a healthy and safe environment to live in because it is 100% smoke free. Smoking is not allowed within the individual apartments and the common areas. At Old Court Estates resident members receive the best of both worlds. In addition to enjoying the privacy of independent-living apartments, resident members have the opportunity to stay active and social in the co-op community. Whether it be shopping trips, bingo, line-dancing, or organized day trips, the resident member life never has to be boring. Resident members work together to plan activities, make decisions for the co-op and organize continuing education opportunities. Highlandtown Co-op is nationally recognized as “A Community of Quality” by the National Affordable Housing Management Association. Highlandtown Co-op is an old trolley car barn that was repurposed into a cooperatively managed senior housing community and has served Highlandtown since 1996. Resident members enjoy the peace and privacy of their apartments, but also enjoy participating in the frequent community activities. Come join in on bingo, or enjoy our 3 interior courtyards. There are also occasional catered events and many other chances to be a part of a lively community. Highlandtown Co-op is located near shopping, John Booth senior center, Enoch Pratt Library, and the world famous Johns Hopkins medical system. The building has quick access to I-95 and I-695. Highlandtown Co-op is affordable for everyone. Leveraging our Cooperative management system, we are able to keep rents lower than other communities.

It is located in the heart of downtown Baltimore near hospitals, the Inner Harbor, and public transportation. Many of the units at Terrace Garden are subsidized and all of them are affordable.

    Golden Ring Co-op is a sprawling delight on the East side of Baltimore County. This 3-story, 154 unit senior community is laid out with four wings of comfortable and spacious units for independent seniors aged 62 and older. Golden Ring Co-op is nationally recognized as “A Community of Quality” by the National Affordable Housing Management Association. The property was completed in 1993. Resident members embody the spirit of cooperation by living independently and volunteering together. The community room, complete with flat screen TV and professional bingo board, is adjacent to the game room which has a pool table and shuffleboard table. Members enjoy the recreational activities inside the co-op as well as outside the co-op as the Travel committee’s excursions to places near and far provide a great source of entertainment. Golden Ring is conveniently located off of Pulaski Highway, a major Baltimore County artery. It has suburban comfort but is merely minutes away from the Baltimore Beltway, I-95 and Baltimore City. Golden Ring is affordable for everyone. The co-op even accepts housing vouchers from members who have them.
