Details: Our beautifully appointed senior affordable housing, opened in 1989, has 80 apartments situated within this community. AHEPA 421 Apartments is conveniently located within a five mile radius include: retail, restaurants, grocery stores, houses of worship, banks, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Publix, and 163 Street Mall. Our onsite team of company-employed professionals includes property manager, assistant manager, maintenance and janitorial staff to ensure that the comfort and security that is expected by you and your loved ones, is unmatched elsewhere. Our onsite professional service coordinator is an expert in life transition and aging providing personal guidance to resources such as transportation, education, civic engagement, or social opportunities. They can advocate on your behalf with governmental programs and community businesses. After you move in, when you have questions or need assistance, we can assist you with accessing any needed governmental program, community business information, and more. Residency is based on acceptance of submitted application. Our communities vary. You are invited to apply if you are: 1) 62 or older for any type unit, 2) in certain communities 18 to 61 requiring a mobility accessible unit, 3) for two people, one person must meet the minimum age requirement of 62, and 4) at or below income levels established by HUD. All income information will be verified by the appropriate parties. Applicants will be added to the property’s waiting list if eligibility is met. When you are next on the list, you will be contacted by the property manager. Monthly rent is calculated after qualification. AHEPA Apartments are subsidized by HUD. The resident portion of the rent will not exceed 30% of your adjusted gross monthly income or 10% of your monthly gross income, whichever is greater.
