It is also within walking distance to a bank, grocery store and several churches. Only a short drive away, Arkansas State University in Jonesboro provides educational opportunities plus countless sporting events, drama productions and art displays. Shopping abounds at the new Turtle Creek Mall just off of Red Wolf Boulevard. Joe Mack Campbell Park provides one of the largest recreational parks in north Arkansas. Two major hospitals are only minutes away from Pecan Valley. Both St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center and NEA Hospital are located in Jonesboro just east of Bono on highway 63. There are numerous other medical clinics, physicians, specialists, dentists, ophthalmologists and other medical services.
