Opened in 1979, Mystic River Homes is a non-profit, USDA subsidized elderly housing establishment which strives to provide a pleasant, quiet, safe, and neighborly environment for very low to middle income individuals or families. In order to be considered elderly, a household must consist of at least one individual who is 62 years of age or older and/or disabled of any age. All apartments include: A full kitchen with electric stove and refrigerator; Full bathroom with tub or shower; Individual thermostat controls; Cable television outlet; Emergency pull cords; Hard-wired smoke detectors; Some units are fully accessible.
