Whether senior residents are here for a few weeks of therapy or elderly patients have long-term needs, at Budd Terrace they will find a warm, cheerful staff, many of whom have worked at the nursing home facility for years. The on-site geriatric medical management team consists of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants highly and specifically trained in meeting the needs of older persons. Budd Terrace is part of Emory Healthcare, the largest most comprehensive health care system in Georgia. The Emory Healthcare geriatrics program, based primarily at Wesley Woods Center, was the only geriatrics program in Georgia ranked among the nation’s top 50 in a recent US News &World Report. Budd Terrace is a 5-Star Rated facility by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, which is the highest rating in the industry. The Star Rating system is divided in three (3) qualifying criteria: survey history, staffing, and quality indicators. We have maintained 5-stars in staffing and quality indicators, but 4 stars in survey history. This year's (2015) Deficiency Free survey will move us to 5 stars in survey history, giving us the most perfect 5-Star Rating a facility can reach in the U.S.
