Details: Dogwood Village is located in northern Queen Ann's County in Sudlersville, Md. Sudlersville is locally famous as the birthplace of Baseball Hall of Farmer sluggers Jimmy Foxx and Home Run Baker. In nearby Crumpton, one of the most popular auctions in the State takes place each Wednesday at Dixon's Furniture Auction. People from all over the East Coast come to purchase the treasures there. Dogwood Village was winner of the American Institute of Architects Baltimore Chapter Award for Excellence in Design in 1980. It like most of USAHC's projects were designed by Chesapeake Design Group in Baltimore. Points of interest include Unicorn Lake, Sudlersville Memorial Library, and Dixon's Furniture Auction.
